On September 6 we are joining with the NCCMA in a stand at the Marrabit Market. Marrabit is located in Northern Victoria, about 3 hours drive from Melbourne.
We will have a display of live turtles and lots of information, giveaways and items for sale. The purpose of the stand its to spread the word about the work we are doing in the Gunbower forest, to promote turtle conservation and perhaps raise some funds. Murrabit is only about 20 minutes from the Gunbower forest so we can expect many locals from the towns near where we do our field work.
I believe this will be the 500th time the market has run and the organizers are making it a extra special day with live entertainment etc. so it should be a lot of fun.
